We at Bridgedale Academy are extremely proud of our relationship with Hillsdale Academy and Hillsdale College. Both academically and philosophically, we are bound to them.

We recently celebrated the 239th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. It is proper we should celebrate this amazing document. But we should also honor it, by understanding what it “brought forth on this continent” those many years ago. All Hillsdale students do, and so do all Bridgedale students.

The president of Hillsdale College, Dr. Larry Arnn, is one of the foremost scholars on the Declaration of Independence, and in particular on its relationship to our Constitution. His free webcast series “Introduction to the Constitution” is available to anyone interested in learning more about our country’s founding documents.

You can access it at the following link here and I encourage you to do so. I believe you’ll be glad you did.

Bridgedale Academy is an all-male school for athletes, a sports academy offering grades 5 through 8. All our students are hockey players and in addition to our winning combination of sports and academics, we focus on leadership training. We use a classical academic curriculum and our graduates go on to attend some of the most prestigious high schools in the midwest, including Lake Forest Academy, Culver Military Academy, Shattuck St. Mary’s, Northwood School, Benet Academy, Fenwick Prep, St. Ignatius Prep, Latin School and Providence Catholic. Three of our students have been offered spots with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program.
