    On a Hockey Scholarship

Jack Silich earns hockey scholarship to Quinnipiac
Bridgedale Academy 9th grader Jack Silich has given his verbal commitment to attend the Quinnipiac University on a hockey scholarship.

Jack is a top player with the Chicago Mission Bantam Major 03 team, and is also an Honor Roll student at Bridgedale.

He becomes the 9th Bridgedale student-athlete to receive his D1 college commitment, and the first to commit to Quinnipiac.

"Coaches are always looking for strong two-way players, and that's Jack Silich in a nutshell," says Gino Cavallini, Jack's coach with the Chicago Mission 03s. "He can impact a game with a big hit, with an important goal, and with a shot block. He's a gamer who will do well at Quinnipiac."

“Jack combines academic excellence with athletic excellence,” said Bridgedale Headmaster Mike McPartlin. "He's the type of young man who will go above and beyond the ordinary to achieve his goals."

“Jack plays a tough game,” added McPartlin. “He hits like a hammer and can score goals.”

Congratulations to Jack (and his parents Don and Penny) on his commitment to Quinnipiac University.
